Shen Wei was born from chaos and reared in the dark, so when a two-bit exorcist comes over from Japan and tries to clear the aura of one of Kunlun's portraits, he's less worried and more annoyed.

A mysterious new player arrives in Dragon City's den of iniquity. Shen Wei observes.

It was a foolish mistake. They – he – should’ve been more careful.

The suspect had never been known to use any weapon other than his dark energy powers and nothing about his behaviour so far had given them any reason to suspect he might suddenly choose to use another weapon - a Haixing weapon. Zhao Yunlan had gotten so used to Shen Wei being able to block any dark energy attack thrown at him, he hadn’t thought about the fact that he couldn’t block bullets.

Chu Shu Zhi needs to take Guo Chang Cheng home to recover from his ordeal underground. He promised and NO ONE is going to stop him.

Shen Wei and his mother agreed on a horrifying amount of shit, but probably one of their worst things was their opinion on Zhao Yunlan's perfectly normal handwriting

This prompt: 6. Making fun of one another

Zhao Yunlan may be blind, but that just means he needs more practice.

Shen Wei is a casino operator. Zhao Yunlan is a professional gambler. Somehow, he gets lucky.

Shen Wei is dead, technically.

College professor Shen Wei listens to Kunlun's radio program most nights to avoid boredom while grading papers. He may have a little crush. It's not a big deal. Whatever.

Ye Zun cannot say for certain if he's ever had a friend, but there is no doubt in his mind that the closest to it was Zhu Jiu.

Zhao Yunlan stroked two fingers along his jaw and kissed him, lips bruising as that swift, clever tongue invaded. He kissed as he played, deft and passionate, weaving a rhythm of light and then deep that made Shen Wei forget everything.
