Zhao Yunlan is a police mole, working undercover to bring the Dixing triad organization down. Ye Zun is his handler. Their relationship is. Difficult, made more strained by the past Ye Zun refuses to disclose, and the frustration and weariness that years of living a false identity have wrought on Zhao Yunlan.

Then he meets Shen Wei, Dixing's dragonhead, and everything gets even more complicated. Caught between destroying a criminal organization down to the root and the increasingly powerful urge to protect the wrong man, Zhao Yunlan's going to have to face a final reckoning not just with Dixing and Ye Zun, but against the entire corrupt core of Dragon City itself.

Steve is going to DC on Fury's request, but he's not sure about leaving Shen Wei behind in New York. the Professor's health isn't good and something's up with SHIELD. He's trying to settle in to a relationship, and a family of sorts, but old ghosts keep appearing...

When Shen Wei first met Kunlun, he had rings on his lips. It was silver and when light caught it, it makes Kunlun’s lips more enticing.

At essence, he was always Kunlun: fast-flowing as a river, diverting around all obstacles, yet steadfast as a mountain. Sometimes the waters were deep, and the man seemed insincere, hiding the goodness that dwelled within at all costs. Sometimes there was a drought, and the unmovable, stubborn man Shen Wei loved was too steadfast for those around him.

That lifetime was one of those times.

When a playful memory triggers Zhao Yunlan to transform into Kunlun Jun, Shen Wei gets possessive.

Zhu Jiu is hovering above them with his stupid purple hair and cartoon villain grin. Beside him, there is a human-shaped monster with a giant megaphone for a torso, stretching its arms out and catching waves of energy emanating from the unconscious crowd.

“Stop right there!” Zhao Yunlan yells up at them. “Just because these people are at a museum on Sunday doesn’t mean you can take their energy! They should get their energy drained the normal way, like being bored by the audio tour!”

From his feet, Da Qing growls in exasperation. Zhao Yunlan ignores him; he has to get his kicks from somewhere.
