And at age 30, Zhao Yunlan's smile welcomed him on board of the Kunlun.

They’re the night customers, the night-dwellers, and Zhao Yunlan pays no mind to their oddities, just follows their direction when they ask for him leave their burgers raw, or not put salt in because it 'burns'; accepts the odd things that they give him along with their tips – like old coins from an age past that give him unprecedented good luck for a week, or sheaves of dry leaves that turn into winning lottery tickets overnight – and when they ask for him to give his name, with too many teeth in their perfect mouths, he winks and changes the subject.

There's a reason for the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on Shen Wei's door, written in his elegant calligraphy and which all of his university students unflinchingly obey. And its existence is completely Zhao Yunlan's fault because he's the reason for the desk incident.

This stupidly took a few hours to write and it's not even 300 words...or I thought. Ok, here:

This stupidly took a few hours to write and it is barely over 300 words.

“I want you to. Come on, fuck me right now, I’ll sleep through it all,” Zhao Yunlan says and it’s utter nonsense. But as he speaks he grinds his leg against Shen Wei’s cock and it hurts with how quickly he swells and responds. The way Zhao Yunlan speaks makes it sound so possible, like of course Shen Wei can fuck his sleeping lover.

“Help me pick out a good rope for you,” Zhao Yunlan demands.

Shen Wei stops folding their laundry and gives him a slightly incredulous look.

“Is that what you’ve been doing on there?” he asks.

“I’m also watching a video on how to tie someone up,” Zhao Yunlan says happily, without an ounce of shame.

The mountain god’s voice sounds vaguely amused behind his thin paper veil, and his long hair falls over his shoulder as he turns to lean back against the tree trunk.

“Shen Wei. You don’t have a wish?” There’s something about the way he says it that makes Shen Wei feel as though it’s not a question at all.

Zhao: Sip....
Shen Wei: Sip, sip...
Han Chen: Sip, sip, sip....
Ye Zun: Sip, sip, sip--

It feels like a dream. He can’t help but feel that maybe, any moment now, he’ll wake up. He'll remember.

Zhao Yunlan runs his fingers over the blades, working to get into that mindset where he can break Shen Wei apart. It always takes him a while, something he has to actively work for, and he takes his time just as much as Shen Wei does.
