Shen Wei’s gaze flickers helplessly back to Zhao Yunlan. He’s wearing ripped jeans and a faded green t-shirt with some outlandish foreign slogan on it. As he sees Shen Wei looking at him he smirks and stretches his legs into a cat-like sprawl. In the mellow sunlight his skin seems to glow.

Yunlan shakes his head. “Take me home with you,” he tells Shen Wei, voice now a low, husky whisper.

Shen Wei doesn’t let it affect him — Yunlan has had a lot to drink tonight and is clearly out to make some bad decisions; Shen Wei knows better than to read anything into Yunlan’s words.

“I’ll be good for you,” Yunlan tells Shen Wei. “I promise I will.”

Shen Wei stared Yunlan straight in the eyes with probably more intensity than necessary. “Zhao Yunlan,” he began, “You may have drunk something…” Shen Wei searched for words, “…Unnecessary.”
“Story of my life,” muttered Yunlan around the lollipop.

Shen Wei and YunLan get into a fight...sorta.

Guo Chang Cheng wears a suit to work, Chu Shu Zhi forgets how to breathe, Zhao Yun Lan gets frisky and no one gets any work done.

Shen Wei sacrifices himself to save Kun Lun, and gains a soul. Kun Lun watches over him throughout every lifetime.

When Shen Wei says "Don't joke about your health" for the first time, Zhao doesn't realize just how serious the quiet professor is.

Zou Hong is a snake. Her director had rejected her confession for an ancient nerd guy. Her deputy director is a cat. Apparently now the hot dead guy was stalking her in the toilets. She pretended to chase someone else while she figured it all out. She is really really bad at this and quite lazy.

(This has little to do with the TV I like the characterization of the two of them in the novel. I just want the lovely snake to get some action but she is kind of terrible at this.)

Guo lets Chu lay one hand on him with a smile, Chu’s fingers splaying over Guo’s chest, slowly sliding down, pressure in the hand urging Guo back two steps until the back of his knees meet the edge of the sofa, then pushing harder with an order to ‘sit’ once his hand meets Chu’s stomach.

Or, it's episode 25 and their personalities are still switched, and they make their way to a Strip Bar.
