Shen cracked a smile at the intended pun, relaxing in the pair of arms that brought him home. He still wasn't used to it. The sensation that thrummed under his skin, whenever Yunlan touched him. Part of him was afraid that if he got too comfortable, he might lose the joy that had come to him after eternities of loneliness. Admission of his fears was still a far cry for him.

As soon as the couple steps outside, things begin to go awry, not to mention that Zhao Yunlan's phone keeps disturbing the lovers' intimacy and crippling Shen Wei with jealousy.

When Zhao Yunlan stumbles upon a natural bed of hot springs, the two of them decide to go for a swim—and more.

"I never rejected you!" Shen Wei parroted the statement, wearing the same look. He had been the one to confess. How could he reject Zhao Yunlan?

"Liar!" Zhao accused. "You said, good for you and ran away like a fucking disney princess. What was I supposed to do? And then you ignored the shit outta me!"

Shen Wei is a successful art dealer who is sent to a small, independent pottery atelier to convince a reluctant artist to sell his pieces and gain fame in the process. However, Zhao Yunlan sees a different value in his work other than money alone and refuses to sell out. Shen Wei learns to see things from Zhao Yunlan's perspective, but his bosses are none too pleased and pressure him to make a decision: the artist, or the artwork.

When the Ghost King returned Kunlun's soulfire, he only hoped for a kiss. What he got was a whole lot more then that.

"I want a lifetime of kisses. Not a day, where you don't let me smooch the fuck outta you." He expressed his intentions and in return, he did get to smooch the fuck outta Shen Wei.

Due to a death in her family, one of Shen Wei's colleagues has to leave town for the weekend. Unable to bring her baby with her, she turns to her only hope—Shen Wei—to take her little girl off her hands for a few days. While Shen Wei is reluctant, Zhao Yunlan readily accepts, and soon, the two end up with a lot more than what they bargained for.

As they find themselves together with a child in their care, feelings emerge.

"Ah Lan..." Shen Wei croaked out, curling his lips into a smile and held up the bunch of flowers in front of his lover's face.

Yunlan's jaw went slack. His boyfriend had gotten hurt, precisely stabbed, was bleeding profusely not even having the energy to stand up, but had the audacity to give him flowers. He swatted the Ghost Slayer's hand away, pulling him more unto himself. His eyes wandered over from the heart-warming smile to the wound, which made his heart clench, reminded him of all those things he didn't want to think of.

All Shen Wei wanted to do was make his boyfriend feel special, but ends up getting stabbed. Cue a very protective Yunlan and lots of fluff.... because they simply can't be mad at each other.
