Guo Changcheng didn’t know when he fell in love.

It was only yesterday that Zhao Yunlan rescued Shen Wei from the pillar in Dixing – and now Ye Zun has disappeared, Dixing is roiling, and Shen Wei is incapacitated. Now Zhao Yunlan has to solve this whole mess with limited personnel while also fearing a stab in the back.

Zhao Yunlan carves poetry in Shen Wei's skin while Shen Wei holds his dark energy healing in check.

Zhao Yunlan is stuck with no paths that might lead him closer to capturing Zhu Jiu, so he goes to touch the Hallows. Shen Wei would rather he touch a different ancient and powerful object: namely, his butt.

Da Qing remembers.

“Where is he?” Shen Wei demanded.

“Working for the Special Investigations Department on Bright Street,” Ye Zun told him. “He goes by Zhao Yunlan now. He's a Sentinel, and he has a Guide. She’s devastatingly beautiful. Reports are mixed on whether he has a daemon or not.”

Zhao Yunlan was searching for Shen Wei at the University, he thought he was at his office but people tell him that he was at the library so he checked at the library and saw Shen Wei alone in the library and was totally reading one book and was totally immersed by it.

Zhao Yunlan loved to see him very passionate by all he does, it's was one of the things that loved to see about Shen Wei.

Zhao Yunlan finds the Yashou Market very intriguing. Shen Wei's patience wears thin.

Coming to terms with Kunlun's return, Shen Wei battles murder and Zhao Yunlan.

“Do you like it?” Zhao Yunlan asks, batting his eyes.

Shen Wei nods slightly. His eyes are wide as he takes in the sight of a long haired Zhao Yunlan, and Zhao Yunlan runs his hand through his long hair.

“Of course he’s not Shen Wei’s heart’s desire,” says Da Qing dismissively.

“What do you mean he’s not Shen Wei’s heart’s desire?” Zhao Yunlan fights the urge to clutch at his hair like Lin Jing in the throes of a particularly nasty science binge. “There was literally a machine that granted people’s heart’s desires, and it brought Ye Zun back to life when Shen Wei touched it!”

It was a rather cool day in the SID, and by cool day I mean some asshole turned the thermostat down to the mid-10’s and while most people found that comfortable, Guo Changcheng was absolutely freezing. It didn’t matter that he had on a long sleeve shirt and a sweater, he was still cold. Da Qing seemed perfectly content, but since he was a cat, his body was a little different than most humans. If anything, the cold just seemed to make him sleepy and Guo Changcheng caught him many times trying not to fall asleep at his desk. Zhao Yunlan and Shen Wei seemed to be enjoying the cool office; Zhao Yunlan even had his jacket off and was just walking around with the t-shirt that he had underneath the jacket on.
