This scene is set probably in ep 15 after Zhao Yun Lan changes his hairstyle.
I just like how Shen Wei subtly lets his guard down around Zhao Yun Lan.
So this is just a short comfort fic for my imagination :)

This scene is set around epi 14/15.
First time between Shen Wei and Zhao Yun Lan.
Shen Wei finally loses control and just /needs/ Zhao Yun Lan.
Blame ZYL's obsession with lollipops and the way he consumes them is just /obscene/.
I love it.

The first century had been one of the hardest, feeling like eternity. After all, Shen Wei had been considered a youth then, not yet knowing the connotations of his longevity. The constant pressure of the war kept him going, giving him little time to be alone with his thoughts. Keeping himself busy seemed to be the only way Shen Wei could stop his thoughts from drifting.

Zhao Yunlan was confused, which wasn't a state he was used to.

I was curious about the show's canon that showed what seemed to be an acquaintance between the Black-Cloaked Envoy and the SID Chief - before Professor Shen meets Zhao Yunlan. Therefore, I wrote something about it.

“'Let them hit. We'll see who wins. Not even the fucking King of Hell is gonna stop what we're doing.'”

To lose someone close is unbearable. It can be a blinding pain. Revenge is the only way out and Officer Han Chen will do what it takes to avenge his loved one. But he never planned that an overbearing, arrogant, wavy-haired gangster with a heart of gold would ever break down his walls.

Zhao Yunlan takes care of a tired Black-Cloaked Envoy.

“By the way,” came Zhao Yunlan’s voice from the couch, casual as anything, “if you can learn every power you see, do you happen to have Ding Dun’s talent too?”

A first time set during episode 15.

“Why can't you ever just obey?” Shen Wei says, more fierce than frustrated, hands fisted at his sides, and Zhao Yunlan’s mouth goes perfectly dry.

Once upon a time, there had been four Ghost Kings, and two sets of twins.

(Or, in which Shen Jiu and Shen Yuan were the twin Ghost Kings before Shen Wei and Ye Zun, and thus had the dubious pleasure of raising two natural disasters.

In other words, Zhao YunLan is tasked with meeting his new, scary in-laws, who apparently came back from the dead.)

It's rare, only once or twice a year, that Zhao Yunlan can convince him.

And Shen Wei still doesn't understand it. Not really.

Two years after the defeat of Ye Zun, Yunlan reveals something about that night, and Zhu Hong asks the obvious question.

Ye Zun and Shen Wei are living together after the war ended. Shen Wei is trying to help his bother recover, but he hasn't told anyone that he is fine or what he is doing. How will the others react when they meet Shen Wei again?

When Shen Wei of the Endless returns after a long imprisonment, he finds much has changed. However, his relationships with - and feelings for - his two brothers remain as complicated as ever.

The next time they’re out, before they’ve found the creature they’re tracking, Zhao Yunlan leans over to whisper into his ear. Shen Wei is in his black robes, dark mask, fully immersed in the role of protector and guardian. He’s trying to sense where the creature is and Zhao Yunlan should be letting him focus. But this is an important matter.

“I want to do it with you like this,” Zhao Yunlan murmurs to him.
