Shen Wei doesn't want Zhao Yunlan to go down on him.

Zhao Yunlan was a well-known Guardian of the human realm who hunted down even the most dangerous ghost that plagued the broken world, but a "casual" encounter with a mysterious professor at Dragon City University changed more than the chaos in which humanity found itself for hundred of years, he also changed his own destiny.

This is an alternative universe story, more related to the novel than the drama, but I hope someone comes to like it. Sorry for the bad English, it's not my main language, my bad. I don't own Guardian, the novel, so proper credit to the amazing work done by Priest.

It wasn’t love at first sight; of course it wasn’t.

At the start of a new semester Professor Shen Wei, darling of Dragon City University, disappears without a trace. Ten years later Zhao Yunlan, new detective for the Dragon City violent crimes unit, receives a strange letter that begins to unravel a mystery that started ten years ago and must finish with him.

Zhao Yunlan jerks back to the waking world gasping and screaming and drowning in the anguish that comes with being lit on eternal consuming fire. The unmistakable rich copper taste of blood fills his mouth and he opens tear-filled bloodshot eyes that he was sure melted a long time ago with the rest of his physical body. He sees faces crowding around him in varying degrees of worry, but the pain blinds him from putting names to the faces. His throat feels raw, as if he'd been screaming for centuries and realizes on the next breath that he's been screaming a name. Shen Wei's name.

The Black-Cloaked Envoy and Zhao Yunlan engage in some sex after capturing a criminal has the Envoy mildly impaled in an unsexy manner.

After Ye Zun snatches Zhao Yunlan away from the Hellfire, he takes a closer look at his brother's lover.

“I have to tell you, Professor, your students are worried about you.”

(A sequel of sorts to the one with the Professor Shen Fan Club.)

There’s a New Year’s party in full swing, but Captain Zhao Yunlan only has thoughts for the First Officer avoiding him. When confronted about his behavior, Shen Wei’s answer is unexpected, but it reaffirms that being Captain is never easy.

A WeiLan Prompt One-Shot.

After Shen Wei has cured Zhao Yunlan's blindness, he's a bit under the weather. Zhao Yunlan's attempts at taking care of him are interrupted by Ye Zun turning up.

Everything has a cost. For a worthy cause, Shen Wei would not hesitate to pay it.

Completely unapologetic fluff.

“But I want to imagine the snowflakes landing on you cheeks,” Yunlan sounds a little dreamy, “on you eyelashes... So beautiful.”

Zhao Yunlan was tired.

Everything he had strived to build with the S.I.D; his duty to the people of Dragon City and beyond, had crumbled down to nothing in the matter of a few days.

He felt as if even the S.I.D family he had grown to love was now in disarray, and even the Black Cloaked envoy, his Professor Shen, seemed to have vanished into thin air.
